Friday, October 15th, 2010Management Concepts, Inc. is currently recruiting for an Instructional Designer to join our Management & Leadership Division.
The Instructional Designer will be responsible for designing, developing content and learning experiences to address government, commercial, and non-profit client needs in the division.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Participate on course development teams to develop content and learning for a variety of audiences and delivery methods.
Lead and manage multiple course development projects
Assess and clarify client training needs
Specify course development requirements and schedules
Design interactive and engaging courses
Evaluate the effectiveness and impact of learning
Share course design and content knowledge with training facilitators
Maintain and revise materials as needed
Perform other duties as assigned.
Preferred Skills and Experience
Experience and interest in Leadership and Management skills development
Familiarity with Human Capital Management in government
Ability to understand and interpret regulations, laws and some technical terms
Synchronous and asynchronous online course development
Experience with the Adobe eLearning Suite .
Necessary Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Expertise and application in Adult Learning Theory.
Proven expertise using instructional methods and training techniques, including curriculum design principles, and blended learning strategies.
Ability to partner with Subject Matter Experts to develop learning objectives and training content that results in information that is relevant and complete.

Ability to learn, organize, and communicate new subject matter

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with specialization in instructional design, adult education, or a related field.
Formal training in instructional design required
