We provide construction and environmental contracting services to DoD and other federal agencies.
Contracting mechanisms include design-bid-build, design-build, construction (RFPs), IFBs, design-build-plus.
We are seeking a talented Project Architect who can cohesively work in a team to support winning proposals and to ensure that daily field driven aspects of construction, especially those of subcontractors and suppliers, complies with the requirements of the contract for a particular project.
Requirements: Architecture or Engineering Degree required5+ years of design/estimating/proposal experienceKnowledge of Government Contracting helpfulComputer savvy including Microsoft Office, Autodesk AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit Building.
Building Information Modeling preferred.
Construction costCSI format estimating using RS Means BIMS, RevitPrior history working with subcontractors and governmentOccasional ravel internationally Responsibilities: This position will execute, manage and direct the technical work of the office to include design, proposal preparations, estimating and technical writing.
Position supports the International Group and interfaces directly and continuously with the overseas staff working primarily in Afghanistan.
- Project proposal and preparation, writing, presentation- Project estimate preparation, writing, presentation- Conceptual drawings in AutoCAD- Preliminary design, schematic design, design development, design review- Document quality review – Contractor/self performing review and analysis- Prepare subcontractors agreement- Confirm Subcontractors/suppliers scope and prices to incorporate in the agreements We are proud to be an EOE Employer
