The VP, Marketing Management will develop the Marketing Strategy & Marketing Operating Plans in support of the overall Full Service Retirement Business Plans.

This person is typically a Center of Excellence (COE) delegate or support/back-up delegate to the Business Team (P&L) model and possesses deep marketing, audience and product knowledge and manages staff.

Responsibilities include: Go-to-market strategic analysis, research, media, CRM (Customer Relationship Management), social media, advertising and interactive direction in support of the line of business strategy and overall P/L operating plan.

Definition of the appropriate marketing service models, pricing and positioning for the suite of services and products offered within the full-service retirement plan business.

Serve as the single point of contact to the P/L leads as well as for other Center of Excellence leaders such as Client Relations & Business Development, Client Services & Technology and Product.

Ensure that all marketing resources are aligned to deliver on strategy and provide direction to all others in the Marketing COE and determines when to include subject matter expert discussions as required/appropriate.

A key segment within Prudential Retirement is the Full Service segment which offers plan sponsors and their participants a broad range of products and services to assist in the delivery and administration of defined contribution, defined benefit and non-qualified retirement plans, including recordkeeping and administrative services, comprehensive investment offerings, and consulting services.  The segment has $120 billion in account values.   This position is responsible for forecasting all capital requirements, net customer flows (plan sales, plan lapses, and participant contributions and withdrawals), earnings, and investment cash flows for the Full Service segment.  Additionally, this position is responsible for analyzing and communicating data and trends that will drive business decisions regarding participant activity, capital positions/flows and investment results. This position has significant interaction with Senior Finance Management within the division.    Specific on-going responsibilities of this position include:   ·          Maintain and enhance Full Service planning models consistently and efficiently while  meeting deadlines. ·          Manage all aspects of cash flow forecasting and analysis; including monthly cash flow forecasts to senior management and quarterly/annual cash flow forecasts to business partners. ·          Responsible for various forecasting and attribution analysis of specialized items including investment income and equity market appreciation. ·          Miscellaneous ad hoc requests. ·          Working with Actuarial personnel on valuation and reporting matters such as DAC, VOBA, and reserves. ·          Opportunities to expand responsibilities include supporting other departments such as Pricing, Stable Value, and Expenses on a variety of analyses.
