The Project Manager will manage Technical projects from definition to deployment ensuring goals and deadlines are successfully met and that stakeholders are satisfied.
The position requires an individual with the following attributes: A heavy achievement orientation, a high personal level of excellence, the ability to assess situations quickly / understand business requirements / understand technology, a successful background in project management, and proven record of successful project delivery and execution.Use project management standards, methods, and process to improve the delivery success of new projects and products.
Define benchmarks and schedules for System Development projects based on analysis and direction from Sr. Management.
Create project plan, action register and risk analysis documentation for each project.
Maintain up-to-date project reporting and variances for senior management (scope, schedule, budget, etc).
This includes formal briefings, project coordination meetings, written and graphic reports.
Effectively applies our methodology and enforces project standards.
Participates in all stages of the software development lifecycle, including requirements, architecture, design, development, test, implementation, and post production support.
Coordinate with other members of CET, NE&TO, business units, outside consultants and Divisions to ensure that project timelines are met.Ensure design and process development documents meet department guidelines and minimum standards.
Attend and facilitate project meetings with key stakeholders on a regular basisMaintain oversight and responsibility of multiple projects at once.
Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance.
Ability to work mandatory overtime Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills: BS degree in a related field; The recognized equivalent in work experience or a combination of work experience and education may be substituted.
EXPERIENCE: At least 2+ years directly relevant experience in a program/or project management capacity.
Technical understanding of Data/Internet, VOIP or related Telecommunications technologies preferredAbility to create and track project plans with the use of standard project management tools.
Strong problem solving ability with excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills required.
Strong organizational and project management skillsStrong PC skills including MS Excel, MS Project, and other MS Office software.
