Hollywood Casino Perryville is looking for a Food & Beverage Manager to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be a person who is involved with the procurement of goods and services, including warehouse inventory items, direct receiving items and special project items.
It also includes being responsible for the supervision of warehouse personnel and warehouse operations timely and accurate receiving of goods.
Its important this person also provides encouragement, sets high expectations, and sets proud and positive examples necessary to ensure a fun, exciting and professional working environment for our staff.
Your daily responsibilities include: · Build rapport, commitment, and loyalty with employees and guests· Interview and hire salaried employees; as well as plan, assign and direct responsibilities and assignments.
· Plan, develop, train all food & beverage employees to ensure an efficient operation· Responsible for day to day operations of the buffet and deli or any relating to, such as service standards or polices· Accountable for and dedicated to ensuring service commitments and standards· Plan, develop and direct the staffing, training and supervision of all F&B employee to ensure an effective operation· Responsible for advising and consulting with managers and supervisors on employee issues and disciplinary problems· Perform all other related and compatible duties as assignedTo be successful in this position it will require the following skill set: · Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university in business or related field preferred.
Five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
· Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials.
· Must qualify for ServSafe certification.
· Candidates with the following skills or experience are preferred but not required: Food and beverage purchasing experience strongly preferred.
· Must have valid driver’s license.
