Working as part of an onsite team, the individual will be a key contact for all information to produce accurate retail content, meet required deadlines and provide final client proofs and files to printers.
The Advertising Coordinator team works closely with the Print, Merchandising and Advertising departments.
Job Duties and Responsibilities – Understand and take ownership of Promotion Management software, including administering the C3/DemandTec tool to place offers on pages for XML output to artists.
-Assist the creation and organization of extensive retailer versions of ads and track proof changes through the design and print cycles.
- Communication with clients about monthly promotions and advertised products, making sure information is accurate and up-to-date.
- Generate and clean-up data extracts for Price Cards and Point-of-Sale downloads.
- Coordinate job routing to maintain schedule and deadline requirements.
- Communicate through phone and email with retailers when necessary to assist them in understanding how to use the software module they have access to.Required Skills The duties and responsibilities described above are the essential functions of the job. - 5 years experience in a corporate retail environment would be a plus.
- Thorough knowledge of graphic production processes (Design, Production, Prepress).
-Solid accuracy and proofreading skills.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills – Must be fluent in Microsoft Excel.
- MAC/PC and Quark or InDesign skills are a plus.
- High integrity and the ability to maintain merchandising and retail sensitive data through proprietary software, is critical.
- Understanding of merchandising logic, including rebates, price incentives and POS.- Possess good organizational skills with the ability to manage timelines, schedules and deadlines.
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to identify and anticipate client and project needs in order to move projects ahead of schedule.
- Must be service oriented and professional with top-notch interpersonal skills in order to work well with colleagues, client and outside vendors/sources.
