Capture Executive for Main Thrust Programs – Top Secret Clearance Preferred Leads the successful pursuit of Main Thrust opportunities from qualifications through award of the program. Efforts include development and implementation of the win strategy, beginning with pre-Request for Proposal activities and continuing through written/oral proposal development, negotiations, award and transition. Focuses to build and lead the business pursuit team. Manages the capture team in the development of a winning proposal strategy within the approved indirect and Bid and Proposal (B&P) budgets. Exhibits extraordinary leadership skills required to direct senior staff for leveraging CSC-wide capabilities, expertise and methodologies to meet CSC business objectives including revenue and margin, balancing risk in the acquisition process (ability to win) and the execution phase (ability to perform). Coordinates the required management reviews of proposal and contract documents in compliance with CSC approval authority. Develops the relationship between CSC and client by involving the appropriate level of executives for executing this relationship. Establishes a partnership with the client, serves as trusted advisor and manages client expectations. Essential Job Functions Markets government agencies and/or commercial organizations regarding need for work in the design, installation, operation, or maintenance of software development or systems integration products. Leads pursuit efforts including strategy development, pursuit planning, presentations, concepts, visit reports, draft specifications, customer responses, internal coordination, and periodic reviews for the largest and most important bids and proposals. Develops a business case for the most complex management bid decisions. Interfaces as point of contact with highest level personnel of designated customer populations to assist customers in articulating business problems. Develops price models for assigned request for information (RFI) and request for proposal (RFP). Responsible for reporting progress to executive level management of the company. Qualification Basic Qualifications Master’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Master’s degree in business administration or related field preferred Fifteen or more years of proposal or capture management experience Nine or more years supervisory or management experience included Experience working with company products, operating systems, and programming languages Experience working with the technology industry Other Qualifications Strong communication skills Strong interpersonal and presentation skills for interacting with team members and clients Strong analytical and problem solving skills Ability to work in a team environment Remote Work Location Authorized:No Relocation Assistance:Not Available Clearance Level:None
