The functional analyst requires a background working in higher education.

This individual is responsible for providing functional support of installed SUNGARD HE Student Administration modules to the SunGard HE Managed Services client community.

In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing project management, leadership, needs assessment, integration services and the ability to develop a strong working relationship with the client.The System Consultant will be responsible for: Facilitating business process review and application prototyping sessions as well as providing business process analysis and insight into best practice methodologies.

Demonstrating knowledge of the SunGard HE Banner functional area processes related to registration, A/R, advising and academic policies and procedures, and be capable of providing quality end-user consultation and support.

Maintaining all tracking and issue logging.

Evaluating, and adjusting where appropriate, the SunGard HE Banner setup tables relative to the client business practices.

Providing sufficient business process and change management documentation.

Providing leadership for functional work groups enabling them to stay on time and on task.

Serving as data custodian for modular setup tables.

Serving as cross-module integration coordinator to assist in the resolution of cross-module issues.

Preparing design specifications for conversion, reporting, interfaces and customizations.

Providing guidance in the formulation and coordination of an end-user training strategy, and when appropriate, deliver such training.

Providing direction in developing testing methodology and test scripts for utilization during upgrades and patch application.

Demonstrating strong problem solving skills and self-starter attitude.

Position Requirements: Required Skills/Knowledge/Experience: Strong functional knowledge of SunGard HE Banner Student system including Recruiting, Admissions, Academic History, CAPP, Graduation and A/R.

Higher education background and knowledge.

Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and provide leadership and direction for the implementation process.

Proven ability to populate and test rule and validation tables.

Project management skills related to managing multiple tasks, developing testing plans, and managing the work of other departmental resources.

Candidate should possess strong desktop automation skills including effective use of e-mail, word processors, spreadsheets and the ability to use tools in conjunction with databases.

In addition, knowledge of relational database reporting tools including PL/SQL, Crystal Reports, Oracle Reports or Microsoft Access.

Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, vendors and the public are required.

Ability to work closely with team members.

Must be a team-oriented person.

Desired Skills/Knowledge/Experience: Working knowledge of SunGard HE Banner Finance, Human Resources, Financial Aid and Alumni modules.

Working knowledge or experience with MS Project and Visio.

Undergraduate degree preferred and 3+ years software implementation experience in higher education.

Application consulting experience is highly desired.

The ability to clearly communicate project status and provide leadership to the implementation team.

The North Colorado Medical Center Foundation seeks a candidate to fill this senior level position for capital campaign coordination and grant proposal preparation in support of the health realted activities and projects of the Foundation and medical center. This position will also involve significant volunteer recruitment, training and support activities working with community leaders.

Qualifications:
Requires a Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communication, Non-Profit Administration, or a related field. 5-7 years successful fundraising experience. Undergraduate degree in marketing, communication, nonprofit administration or related field. Successful grant writing experience.
