Manufacturing Engineer Job in Grand Rapids, Michigan US
Kforce is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer that must have Screw Machine experience for a Grand Rapids client.
Major Responsibilities: Provide leadership and direction that ensures adherence to our client’s documents, work instructions, and schedulesManufacturing process: develop and ensure manufacturing methods that meet customer, cost, and performance objectives utilizing a FEMA development process; establish and maintain accurate documentsTraining: auditing and ensuring compliance to the manufacturing planParticipate in and perfect manufacturing processesQuality Assurance: develop, train, and ensure proper use of gauging methods that comply to R/R criteria and TMP policies and cost objectivesAdministrate and ensure compliance to a gauging frequency plan driven by the control planDetermine calibration schedules for gauging system and ensure compliance by providing training and auditingPreventive maintenanceDevelop, train, and audit equipment maintenance schedules that comply to manufactures recommendations and our experiencesDevelop and maintain key equipment inventoryImplement and measure dollars spent to ensure budget objects and make recommendation to correct over expendituresPredictive maintenanceDevelop, train, and audit tooling maintenance schedules that comply to manufactures recommendations and our experiences in regards to speeds and feedsDevelop BOM and suppliers for replacement procurement of tools that meet cost objectsImplement and measure dollars spent to ensure budget objects and make recommendation to correct over expendituresMaterial movementDevelop, maintain, and ensure compliance to scrap procedures for existing and new equipmentDevelop, maintain, and ensure compliance to pan to pan control for existing and new equipmentParticipate with Red / Yellow / Green ContainmentCandidates must possess Screw Machine experience.
