Project manage a variety of IT infrastructure projects — Job Description: The Senior Infrastructure Project Manager is a key leadership role in Corporate Global Technology Services organization interfacing with the Business, IT Application Development Teams, Vendors and internal Engineering and Operations groups to assure the success of corporate information technology initiatives.
The job requires an individual with technical, business, communications, and leadership skills who can execute a project from initial inception and justification through full operational readiness.
The environment includes a variety of critical infrastructure services that supports: print, financial market data, business information and news.
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for defining the project plans, project tasks/deliverables, management of project costs and logistics, presenting status to senior management, and proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
Their responsibilities include the delivery of IT Infrastructure projects that are on time, on budget and of the highest quality.
Required Skills: A broad range of experience with infrastructure for both emerging and legacy technologies, including, ability to communicate and present to Senior Business and Technical Executive, Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize complex situations and effectively address them.
Must be able to participate in design processes and work effort estimation involving design, implementation.
Proven knowledge and experience in project planning and development of schedules, tasks, milestones.
Experience supporting business planning and budgeting processes.
This includes financial and technical, Excellent written and presentation skills.
