DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

- Accounting & Cash Management

o Review weekly Accounts Payable entries;

o Process bank deposits;

o Prepare and input general ledger journal and cash entries;

o Monitor weekly cash status for all entities;

o Determine funding methods and amounts, maximizing earnings;

o Process weekly cash reports;

o Reconcile bank and broker statements;

o Prepare monthly financial statements and reports

- Tax Return

o Reconcile G/L accounts to year end tax forms (1099s, etc);

o Reconcile K-1 forms to the general ledger;

o Prepare annual tax folders for all entities;

o Review tax returns for input errors;

o Obtain signatures for all tax returns;

o Process tax payments;

o Copy and file returns

- Finance & Investment

o Process monthly and quarterly investment reports;

o Provide investment research and planning;

o Open, close and update all investment accounts (M/M, checking, mutual funds, and brokerage accounts)

- Administrative

o Provide back up support for the Chairman’s Executive Assistant when requested;

o Compose letters and correspondence regarding banking, investments, and other business
CHARACTERISTICS OF PERFORMANCE

Accurate, detail oriented, computer literate, good people and communication skills, sound judgment ability, professional demeanor.

EDUCATION

High school, some college level courses.

EXPERIENCE

3-4 Year in an office environment

SKILLS

Office equipment (telephones, copiers, etc), computers (hardware and software familiarity); knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc); bookkeeping and accounting knowledge; Income Tax Return processing
